Information in English

If you are new to Norway and would like to train Aikido in Oslo, you are welcome to join us.
If you are an aikidoka visiting or moving to Oslo and wish to continue your Aikido practice, you can join us anytime.

Training hours

  • Monday: 19:00 – 20:30
  • Wednesday: 18:00 – 19:30
  • Thursday: 19:00 – 20:30
  • Friday: 07:00-08:00 (morning open practice, without instructor)
  • Saturday: 10:00 – 12:00

Location

We share training facilities with Oslo Karateklubb, located below Coop Marked (down a flight of stairs).

In addition to our spacious dojo, we offer large changing rooms with showers, a fully equipped kitchen and a sauna.

Public transport

  • The closest subway station is Tøyen (all lines)
  • The closest bus station is Brinken (bus nr. 60) and Kjølbergata (bus nr. 20).

NB: Beware of parking situation, no allotted parking spaces for our club.

Membership

  • The membership fee is paid twice a year (in spring and autumn). If you are a beginner, you pay 1500 kroner for your first semester. After that, the standard fee of 2400 kroner applies.
  • Members joining during the semester may pay 500 kroner per remaining month of the semester.

Visitors

  • Visitors from other Aikido clubs can train with us for 50 kroner per session. You can pay via Vipps (Sentrum Aikido, 11207) or by bank transfer.
  • Students who are active members of OSI Aikido can practice with us for free.
