Kaname Ariga Sensei, 6th dan Aikikai, is returning to Oslo for his 7th seminar in Norway, scheduled from June 13th to 15th, 2025. The seminar is part of Ariga Sensei’s 2025 Scandinavian Tour, organised by JuShinKan Aikido, in cooperation with the Finnish host clubs, with the assistance of Sentrum Aikido and Sunyata Aikido dojos.
Changing of location
This year, the seminar will be held at Bjølsenhallen, the 3rd floor, located at Moldegata 7, 0445 Oslo.
Training time
- Friday, June 13th: 19:00 – 21:00
- Saturday, June 14th: 10:30 – 12:30 and 15:30 – 17:30
- Sunday, June 15th: 10:30 – 12:30
- Party in the Saturday evening, after training, will be announced.
The teacher
Kaname Ariga Sensei began his Aikido journey in 1989 at the age of 15 and currently teaches and runs the Saku Dojo in Japan. He is known for teaching a simple, elegant, soft, and contact-based, yet effective aikido style, and is regarded as a very friendly, generous, and inspiring teacher. Currently, Ariga Sensei is holding international Aikido seminars regularly in Finland, Spain, Italy, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, and Germany.

- 800 NOK for the whole seminar.
- 500 students, unemployed, youth under 26 (rebate applies to full seminar only).
- 275 NOK / single class.
